About Undead Alchemist
Undead Alchemist, Creature — zombie, designed by Michael C. Hayes first released in Sep, 2011 in the set Innistrad and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.
Undead Alchemist would be a great addition to a Zombie tribal deck in Magic: the Gathering, as it synergizes well with other Zombie creatures and can generate additional value by creating Zombie tokens. However, in competitive play, there are more efficient cards like Gisa and Geralf or Diregraf Colossus that may offer better utility and consistency. While Undead Alchemist can be a fun and flavorful card to include in casual decks, it may not see much play in highly competitive environments due to its mana cost and situational abilities.
Rules
09/22/11
If you control multiple Undead Alchemists, the multiple replacement abilities will have no added effect. Combat damage dealt to a player by a Zombie you control will be replaced only once with cards being put into that player’s graveyard.
