About Prosperous Pirates
Prosperous Pirates, Creature — human pirate, designed by Josh Hass first released in May, 2020 in the set Ixalan and was printed exactly in 5 different ways. It's a key card in 2 combos.
Prosperous Pirates would be beneficial in a deck focused on ramping up mana quickly, such as a control deck looking to cast high-cost spells or an artifact-based deck. While it provides immediate mana acceleration with the Treasure tokens, there are arguably better cards for this purpose like Smothering Tithe, which can generate more value over time. However, Prosperous Pirates could still see play in decks that require early mana ramp and can benefit from the artifact tokens it creates.
