A deck that focuses on aggressive strategies and attacking frequently would benefit from using Heartless Pillage, as it offers card advantage and a potential mana boost with the Treasure token. However, there are more efficient discard spells like Thoughtseize or Inquisition of Kozilek that provide immediate card advantage without the condition of attacking, making them better choices in most situations. Heartless Pillage may not see much play in competitive decks due to its limitations compared to other options available.
