About Wirewood Elf
Wirewood Elf, Creature — elf druid, designed by Jerry Tiritilli first released in Oct, 2002 in the set Onslaught.
A deck that focuses on ramping up mana quickly, such as a green ramp deck or an elf tribal deck, would benefit from using Wirewood Elf as it provides additional mana acceleration. While Wirewood Elf is a solid card for its cost, there are better options available such as Llanowar Elves or Elvish Mystic which provide the same effect for a single green mana. However, Wirewood Elf could still see play in decks that require additional mana dorks or elf synergies.
