About Quirion Explorer
Quirion Explorer, Creature — elf druid scout, designed by Ron Spears first released in Feb, 2001 in the set Planeshift and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
This Quirion Explorer card would benefit decks that aim to disrupt their opponents' mana base or require access to multiple colors of mana. It could be useful in a deck focused on land destruction or color manipulation. However, there are better options available, such as Birds of Paradise or Noble Hierarch, which provide more consistent and versatile mana acceleration. Quirion Explorer may not see much play in competitive decks due to its limited utility compared to other mana dorks available in Magic: the Gathering.
Rules
08/01/08
If the opponent only has lands that produce colorless or no mana, this card’s ability can still be activated; it just won’t produce any mana.
