About Ghost Spider
Ghost-Spider is the current alias of Gwen Stacy, who was formerly known as Spider-Woman and Spider-Gwen. Her first appearance in the comics was in 2014's Edge of Spider-Verse Vol 1 #2.
On Earth-65, an alternate dimension, Gwen Stacy is the one who is bitten by a spider and becomes a hero. One of her first villains is none other than Peter Parker, who, after discovering Gwen's identity, tries to gain powers like her friend's, but the experiment goes wrong and he becomes the Lizard.

The hero version of Gwen fell in favor with the public and the Ghost-Spider started to appear in the cast of several Marvel games and animations, including the acclaimed animated film Spider-Man into the Spider-Verse, in 2018. Now, in 2023, Gwen and other characters return for the long sequel, entitled Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.
Ghost-Spider in Marvel Snap
Card Review
The move archetype hardly appears in the Metagame, and part of the reason is due to the lack of more efficient triggers for cards like Dagger, Human Torch, and Vulture. Basically, it's just Cloak and Iron Fist (Doctor Strange is specific and Heimdall is a predictable finisher), so the arrival of Ghost-Spider brings consistency to movement decks.
In addition to this play style, since she has great stats, Ghost-Spider can be a flexible card which can be used in other decks, which lack good two-drops. Gwen's ability can be useful in several cases, such as in restrictive locations where it is not possible of playing cards costing 4, 5 and 6 or in places that reduce the power of your cards and, of course, in the Death's Domain (nobody can stand that location, right?).
Also, if you have priority, on the last turn the Ghost-Spider can dodge some plays, such as pulling your card with 9+ power (played on the previous turn) that the opponent's Shang-Chi would destroy.
Offering a variety of possibilities, Ghost-Spider has what it takes to shine in the movement archetype and beyond.
Ghost Spider Deck
Although Human Torch is an easy target for Killmonger, there are several other cards that benefit from Ghost-Spider's ability, such as Vulture and Dagger, which can be combined first with Iron Fist and then with Gwen, leaving the two with very high powers. In addition, Kraven and Angela also indirectly benefit from the power of the new pass card.
The list still has control tools, such as Shang-Chi, ideal for the Hulks that are on the rise, and Polaris manages to counter the main strategy of Galactus' deck.
Heimdall remains the main finisher of this archetype, but there are other possibilities for the last turn, such as the aforementioned Polaris, which has a good amount of power, in addition to its ability to disrupt the point count, along with Doctor Strange, that can catch the opponent off guard.
Pass' Cosmetics Review
In addition to the unreleased card, the season passes have a series of rewards, with variants and card backs being the most coveted items by players.
Of course, in this department, the personal taste of each player influences, so there is hardly a consensus regarding cosmetics, but this time the game's team did an impressive job! The three variants are equally beautiful and carry the essence of the Spider-Man: Across the Spiderverse movie, so it's a full plate for long lovers.

In addition, the card backs bring this style with a focus on the characters' faces, which is not so common in Marvel Snap, so it's another positive point.
Is it worth buying the pass?
Yes! In addition to the cosmetics being spectacular, the Ghost Spider has everything to rock the game and promises to appear in several decks that will appear in the meta. Even for novice players, buying the pass is a good idea, as most movement archetype cards are acquired in the first two pools of the collection.
