This card, Custody Battle, would be best suited for a red aggressive deck looking to apply pressure on the opponent. It can be a useful tool to disrupt the opponent's board state by forcing them to sacrifice lands or lose control of their creature. However, there are better options available such as Threaten or Act of Treason, which provide immediate control of the creature without any conditions.
