About Striking Sliver
Striking Sliver, Creature — sliver, designed by Maciej Kuciara first released in Jul, 2013 in the set Magic 2014 and was printed exactly in 4 different ways. It see play in 1 formats: Alchemy.
This card would greatly benefit a Sliver tribal deck in Magic: the Gathering, as it enhances the combat abilities of all Sliver creatures by giving them first strike. While Striking Sliver is a solid option for this type of deck, there are better cards like Sliver Legion or Crystalline Sliver that offer more powerful and versatile effects. Depending on the overall strategy of the deck, Striking Sliver could see play as a relevant addition for its specific niche role in enhancing Sliver creatures' offensive capabilities.
Rules
07/01/13
Abilities that Slivers grant, as well as power/toughness boosts, are cumulative. However, for some abilities, like flying, having more than one instance of the ability doesn’t provide any additional benefit.
07/01/13
If Striking Sliver leaves the battlefield after Sliver creatures you control have dealt first-strike damage but before regular combat damage, those Slivers won’t deal regular combat damage (unless they have double strike for some reason).
