About Rakdos Drake
Rakdos Drake, Creature — drake, designed by Karl Kopinski first released in May, 2020 in the set Dragon's Maze and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.
This Rakdos Drake card would be beneficial in an aggressive red-black deck that focuses on dealing damage quickly and efficiently. Its flying ability allows it to bypass ground defenses, and the Unleash ability provides the option to increase its power at the cost of blocking. While Rakdos Drake can be a solid inclusion in such a deck, there may be better options depending on the specific strategy and synergies of the deck, such as Stormblood Berserker or Vexing Devil, which offer similar aggressive advantages. Ultimately, the decision to include Rakdos Drake would depend on the overall game plan and card pool of the deck, but it certainly has the potential to see play in the right aggressive build.
Rules
04/15/13
A creature with unleash can’t block if it has any +1/+1 counter on it, not just one put on it by the unleash ability.
04/15/13
You make the choice to have the creature with unleash enter the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter or not as it’s entering the battlefield. At that point, it’s too late for a player to respond to the creature spell by trying to counter it, for example.
