About Searing Blood
Searing Blood, Instant, designed by Daniel Ljunggren first released in Feb, 2014 in the set Born of the Gods and was printed exactly in 4 different ways.
A red aggro or burn deck would benefit from using Searing Blood in Magic: the Gathering, as it provides efficient removal and additional damage to the opponent. However, there are better options like Lightning Bolt or Skewer the Critics that offer more versatility or immediate damage potential, making Searing Blood less optimal for competitive play but still a solid choice for casual or budget decks.

If the target creature dies that turn, Searing Blood will deal 3 damage to whoever controls the creature when it dies, who isn’t necessarily the player who controlled it when Searing Blood resolved. It doesn’t matter what causes the creature to die.
