A deck that focuses on drawing a lot of cards, such as a blue control or card advantage deck, would benefit from using Chasm Skulker as it can quickly grow in power and create a swarm of squid tokens when it dies. While Chasm Skulker is a strong card in the right deck, there are other cards like Hangarback Walker or Walking Ballista that offer similar benefits with more versatility, making them potentially better choices depending on the overall strategy of the deck. Chasm Skulker could see play in decks looking to go wide with creature tokens and take advantage of card draw synergies.
