About Scorch the Fields
Scorch the Fields, Sorcery, designed by Jaime Jones first released in Feb, 2012 in the set Dark Ascension.
A red aggressive deck focused on land destruction and dealing damage to creatures would benefit from using Scorch the Fields. However, there are better alternatives like Stone Rain or Molten Rain that offer more versatile land destruction without the drawback of damaging your own creatures. Scorch the Fields could be situational and might not see much play in competitive decks unless in a specific meta where Human creatures are prevalent and the land destruction is crucial.
