About Nightpack Ambusher
Nightpack Ambusher, Creature — wolf, designed by Dan Murayama Scott first released in Jun, 2019 in the set Core Set 2020 and was printed exactly in 5 different ways.
A deck focused on tribal synergy with Wolves and Werewolves would greatly benefit from including Nightpack Ambusher, as it provides a powerful boost to those creatures and generates additional tokens. While there may be other strong options depending on the specific strategy of the deck, Nightpack Ambusher's Flash ability and end step token generation make it a versatile and valuable inclusion that can apply pressure on opponents while building a board presence. Overall, it is a solid card that should see play in decks looking to capitalize on creature synergy and token generation.
Rules
07/12/19
A creature that’s both a Wolf and a Werewolf gets only +1/+1 from Nightpack Ambusher’s ability.
07/12/19
Nightpack Ambusher looks at the entire turn to see if you have cast a spell, even if Nightpack Ambusher wasn’t on the battlefield when that spell was cast. Notably, you won’t get a Wolf token during your end step if you cast Nightpack Ambusher during your turn.
