About Necrotic Ooze
Necrotic Ooze, Creature — ooze, designed by James Ryman first released in May, 2020 in the set Scars of Mirrodin and was printed exactly in 4 different ways. It see play in 1 formats: Commander. It's a key card in 23 combos.
A deck that focuses on filling up graveyards with powerful creatures would benefit from including Necrotic Ooze, as it can essentially become a versatile toolbox of activated abilities. However, there are other cards like Phyrexian Devourer or Triskelion that can create more powerful combos with Necrotic Ooze, making them potentially better choices depending on the strategy of the deck. Overall, Necrotic Ooze can be a strong addition to certain graveyard-focused decks and is worth considering for play.
Rules

If an activated ability of a card in a graveyard references the card it’s printed on by name, treat Necrotic Ooze’s version of that ability as though it referenced Necrotic Ooze by name instead. For example, if Cudgel Troll (which says “: Regenerate Cudgel Troll”) is in a graveyard, Necrotic Ooze has the ability “: Regenerate Necrotic Ooze.”
01/01/11
Necrotic Ooze gains only activated abilities. It doesn’t gain keyword abilities (unless those keyword abilities are activated), triggered abilities, or static abilities.
