A deck that focuses on red and green mana symbols would benefit from using Karplusan Forest, as it provides flexibility in mana production while also dealing damage to the player. However, if the deck can afford to take the damage, there may be better options such as Stomping Ground, which enters untapped and doesn't deal damage, making it a more efficient choice for most decks. Karplusan Forest could see play in budget decks or in decks where the damage is not a significant drawback.
