Hostile Minotaur would be a good fit in an aggressive red deck looking to apply early pressure and close out games quickly. However, there are better options for a 3-drop in red decks, such as Goblin Chainwhirler, which has a more impactful ability with its ETB effect. Hostile Minotaur may struggle to find a spot in competitive play due to its limited impact compared to other available options.
