About Feral Animist

Feral Animist, Creature — goblin shaman, designed by Ron Spears first released in Feb, 2006 in the set Guildpact and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.

A deck that focuses on aggressive strategies and ramping up power quickly would benefit from using Feral Animist, as it can become a potent threat with its ability to boost its power. However, there are better cards available for similar purposes, such as Tarmogoyf or Goblin Guide, which offer more consistent value. Feral Animist may struggle to see play in competitive decks due to its high mana cost and vulnerability to removal, but it could find a home in more casual or budget-friendly decks.

Rules

04/15/13

You don’t choose the value of X. The bonus Feral Animist gets is based on its power when the ability resolves. For example, if you activate the ability twice, the first ability will give it +2/+0 and the second one will give it +4/+0.
