This card, Feast on the Fallen, would be beneficial in a deck that focuses on causing consistent damage to opponents to trigger its effect regularly. Decks that utilize strategies such as direct damage spells, aggressive creatures, or lifelink abilities would synergize well with this enchantment. While Feast on the Fallen can be a valuable addition to such decks, there are potentially more powerful cards like Bloodthirsty Aerialist or Ajani's Pridemate that offer similar effects with potentially greater impact, making them better choices in certain situations. Feast on the Fallen checks only if an opponent lost life during the turn, not whether that player’s life total decreased over the course of the turn. For example, if an opponent lost 2 life and then gained 8 life last turn, Feast on the Fallen’s ability will trigger.
