About Faces of the Past

Faces of the Past, Enchantment, designed by Wayne England first released in May, 2003 in the set Scourge. It's a key card in 2 combos.

A tribal deck that focuses on a specific creature type, such as Elves, Goblins, or Merfolk, would benefit from using Faces of the Past in Magic: the Gathering. This card can provide valuable disruption by tapping down your opponent's creatures when yours die, potentially slowing down their offense. However, there are better options available, like Cryptic Command or Cyclonic Rift, which offer more versatile control options. Faces of the Past may not see much play in competitive decks due to its narrow focus and higher mana cost.
