Desculpting Blast would be beneficial in a control deck looking to disrupt the opponent's board by bouncing a nonland permanent, potentially removing a blocker and creating a flying token as a bonus. While effective in certain situations, similar cards like Unsummon offer more flexibility as they can target any creature, making Desculpting Blast a bit narrower in application.
