Waxing Moon, Instant, designed by Adam Paquette first released in Jul, 2016 in the set Eldritch Moon.
This card, Waxing Moon, would benefit a Werewolf tribal deck in Magic: The Gathering, providing a way to transform your Werewolf creatures and give them trample for a powerful attack. However, there are better cards like Moonmist that not only transform Werewolves but also prevent them from transforming back. Waxing Moon could still see play in decks looking for additional trample effects or specific Werewolf synergies.

You may cast Waxing Moon without targeting a Werewolf. If you do choose a target, and that target becomes illegal, Waxing Moon doesn’t resolve, and your creatures won’t gain trample.
