About Unlicensed Disintegration
Unlicensed Disintegration, Instant, designed by Florian de Gesincourt first released in May, 2020 in the set Magic Online Promos and was printed exactly in 7 different ways.
This card, Unlicensed Disintegration, would benefit a deck that focuses on artifacts and removal strategies, particularly in a Black-Red (BR) deck with artifact synergies. It can be a powerful removal spell that provides additional value if you control an artifact, making it versatile in various situations. While there may be other removal spells with different effects, the added damage to the creature's controller can be significant in pressuring opponents. Overall, Unlicensed Disintegration could see play in decks that can consistently have artifacts on the battlefield and need efficient removal options.
Rules
08/07/20
If the target creature is an illegal target by the time Unlicensed Disintegration tries to resolve, the spell won’t resolve. It won’t deal damage to any player. If the target is legal but not destroyed (most likely because it has indestructible), its controller is dealt 3 damage.
