Spirit en-Kor, Creature — kor spirit, designed by John Matson first released in Mar, 1998 in the set Stronghold and was printed exactly in 2 different ways.
Spirit en-Kor would be a great addition to a defensive white weenie deck in Magic: the Gathering, providing protection against damage to key creatures. However, in competitive play, the card might be overshadowed by more versatile options like Mother of Runes, which offers similar protection but with the added benefit of being able to target any creature. While Spirit en-Kor has its niche uses, it may not see widespread play in more optimized decks.

When you redirect combat damage it is still combat damage.

It is possible to redirect more damage to a creature than that creature’s toughness.

The ability of this card does not do anything to stop Trample damage from being assigned to the defending player.
