About Mark of Asylum

Mark of Asylum, Enchantment, designed by Sal Villagran first released in May, 2020 in the set Conflux.

This card, Mark of Asylum, would be beneficial in a deck focused on protecting creatures and maintaining board presence, especially in a white-based aggro or midrange strategy. While it offers solid protection against noncombat damage, there are potentially better options like Brave the Elements which provides protection against all colors, or Eerie Interlude which can save creatures from removal spells. Whether Mark of Asylum should see play depends on the specific meta and deck strategy, but it could be a valuable inclusion in the right build.

Rules

02/01/09

“Noncombat damage” is damage dealt as the result of a spell or ability. (In unusual cases involving a card like Words of War, noncombat damage can also be dealt as the result of a turn-based action.)
