About Mammoth Spider
Mammoth Spider, Creature — spider, designed by Lars Grant-West first released in May, 2020 in the set Dominaria and was printed exactly in 4 different ways.
A deck that focuses on controlling the board and dealing with flying creatures would benefit from including Mammoth Spider in its lineup. While Mammoth Spider's Reach ability is useful for blocking flyers, there are potentially better options like Plummet that specifically target flying creatures for removal. However, Mammoth Spider could still see play in a deck that needs a solid blocker against flying threats while also providing a decent body on the battlefield.
