This card, Loch Korrigan, could be beneficial in a deck that focuses on a blue/black control strategy in Magic: the Gathering. Its ability to pump itself with +1/+1 by spending {U/B} mana can be useful for both offense and defense. However, there are stronger cards available in the format that offer more impactful effects for a similar cost, such as Delver of Secrets or Snapcaster Mage, which see more play in competitive decks. Loch Korrigan may not see as much play due to its relatively limited effect compared to other options available in the same mana cost range.
