About Hungry Lynx
Hungry Lynx, Creature — cat, designed by Shreya Shetty first released in Nov, 2016 in the set Treasure Chest and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.
This Hungry Lynx card could be beneficial in a cat tribal deck in Magic: the Gathering, providing protection from Rats and a way to boost your Cat creatures whenever a Rat dies. However, there are more powerful cat tribal cards like Regal Caracal that provide more immediate value and impact on the board, making Hungry Lynx less likely to see competitive play in most decks.
Rules
08/25/17
Hungry Lynx’s last ability puts a +1/+1 counter on each Cat you control, including itself.

If a permanent has protection from Rats, it means four things: 1) Damage from a source that’s a Rat that would be dealt to that permanent is prevented. 2) Auras and Equipment that are somehow Rats can’t be attached to that permanent. 3) Rats can’t block that permanent. 4) That permanent can’t be the target of abilities of Rats or spells that are somehow Rats.

The opponent who creates the Rat token is the owner of that token.
