A deck that focuses on protecting key creatures or permanents from removal or targeted effects would benefit from including Gilded Light. While it may not be a staple in every deck, it could be useful in decks that rely on specific creatures or strategies that need protection. Other similar cards like Shelter or Apostle's Blessing may offer more versatility or additional benefits, but Gilded Light could still find a place in certain sideboards or niche strategies where shroud is particularly valuable.
