About Emancipation Angel
Emancipation Angel, Creature — angel, designed by Scott Chou first released in May, 2012 in the set Avacyn Restored and was printed exactly in 5 different ways.
Emancipation Angel would be a valuable addition to a deck that focuses on utilizing enters-the-battlefield triggers or benefits from bouncing permanents for additional value. While it offers flexibility and synergy in decks with such strategies, there are potentially better options like Restoration Angel, which provides a similar effect with the added bonus of being able to flicker other creatures. Whether Emancipation Angel should see play depends on the specific deck and its game plan, but it could definitely find a home in certain strategies looking for this type of effect.
Rules
12/07/18
For Emancipation Angel’s triggered ability, the permanent to return is chosen as the ability resolves. No player may take actions between the time you choose the permanent and the time it’s returned to its owner’s hand.
