About Culling Ritual
Culling Ritual, Sorcery, designed by Lorenzo Mastroianni first released in Apr, 2021 in the set Strixhaven: School of Mages and was printed exactly in 14 different ways. It see play in 1 formats: Commander.
A deck focused on controlling the board and generating mana advantage, such as a Golgari midrange or control deck, would benefit from including Culling Ritual. However, there are more efficient board wipes available, like Damnation or Toxic Deluge, which could be better options depending on the deck's strategy and the meta. Culling Ritual could see play in certain niche decks, but its high mana cost and limited scope may limit its overall effectiveness in competitive play.
