About Cruel Finality
Cruel Finality, Instant, designed by Svetlin Velinov first released in Jan, 2017 in the set Aether Revolt.
This card, Cruel Finality, would be beneficial in a black-based control deck that focuses on disrupting the opponent's board by weakening their creatures and gaining card advantage through scrying. While it provides a decent removal option and a bit of card selection, there are more efficient removal spells like Fatal Push or Doom Blade that might be preferred in competitive play. However, for a more budget or casual deck, Cruel Finality could still see play as a versatile and budget-friendly option.
Rules
02/09/17
If the target creature becomes an illegal target, Cruel Finality doesn’t resolve and none of its effects happen. You won’t scry 1.
