Contemplation, Enchantment, designed by Brom first released in Mar, 1998 in the set Stronghold.
Contemplation would be beneficial in a White Weenie or Lifegain deck in Magic: the Gathering, where gaining life is a key strategy. However, there are better cards like Soul Warden or Soul's Attendant that provide consistent life gain without the need to cast spells. Contemplation could see play in a casual or budget deck, but may not be optimal for competitive play due to its limited impact compared to other options.
