This card, Will-o'-the-Wisp, would be beneficial in a control deck that focuses on stalling the game and protecting its life total. While it offers a good defensive option with its regeneration ability, there are better cards available like Vampire Nighthawk which provides more value with lifelink and deathtouch. Will-o'-the-Wisp could see play in a budget deck or in a specific meta where regeneration is particularly useful.
