Meedogenloze verwijdering, Tovenarij, designed by Dave Kendall first released in Jul, 2016 in the set Eldritch Moon and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.
Een kaartspel dat zich richt op het opofferen van wezens en het gebruik van kerkhofgrondstoffen zou baat hebben bij Ruthless Disposal, omdat het verwijdering en potentiële waarde van de weggegooide kaart en het opgeofferde wezen biedt. Er zijn echter efficiëntere verwijderingsopties beschikbaar, zoals Damnation of Toxic Deluge, die een bredere impact bieden zonder de extra kosten. Ruthless Disposal zou kunnen spelen in specifieke decks met opofferingsthema, maar de hoge kosten en beperkingen kunnen de algehele effectiviteit ervan in competitief spel beperken.

Discarding a card and sacrificing a creature are both part of Ruthless Disposal’s cost. You can’t discard or sacrifice more to target more creatures, and you can’t cast Ruthless Disposal at all if you don’t have any other cards in hand or if you control no creatures.

If one targeted creature becomes an illegal target, the other will still get -13/-13 until end of turn.

Once you begin to cast Ruthless Disposal, no player may take actions until you’re done. Notably, opponents can’t try to remove the creature you wish to sacrifice.
