Een deck dat zich richt op agressieve strategieën en ongunstige blokken wil afdwingen van de wezens van de tegenstander, zou baat hebben bij het gebruik van Hunt Down. Er zijn echter betere kaarten zoals Prey Upon, waarmee je meer controle hebt over welke wezens vechten. Hunt Down wordt mogelijk niet veel gespeeld in competitieve kaartspellen vanwege de beperkingen in vergelijking met andere vergelijkbare kaarten.
