Kathaarse metgezel, Schepsel – hond, designed by Svetlin Velinov first released in Apr, 2016 in the set Shadows over Innistrad and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.

Cathar's Companion kan nuttig zijn in een wit weenie- of aggro-deck dat een mix van noncreature-spreuken bevat om zijn onverwoestbare vermogen te activeren, wat een veerkrachtige dreiging op het bord vormt. Hoewel er misschien betere opties zijn zoals Adanto Vanguard of Selfless Saviour voor bescherming, zou Cathar's Companion nog steeds spel in een deck kunnen zien op zoek naar een budgetvriendelijke optie met een relevante vaardigheid.
