Questa carta Siege Wurm sarebbe utile in un mazzo basato sul verde che si concentra sull'aumento rapido del mana e sull'utilizzo di token creature o di una vasta presenza sul campo. La sua abilità di convocare consente flessibilità nel costo di lancio, rendendola una scelta forte per i mazzi con molte creature. Anche se Siege Wurm può essere un'inclusione solida in certe strategie, ci sono potenzialmente opzioni migliori come Carnage Tyrant o Voracious Hydra per creature di maggiore impatto in una gamma di costo simile, a seconda delle esigenze e degli obiettivi specifici del mazzo. In definitiva, se Siege Wurm viene giocato dipenderà dalla strategia complessiva e dalla sinergia del mazzo per il quale è preso in considerazione.

If a creature you control has a mana ability with in the cost, activating that ability while casting a spell with convoke will result in the creature being tapped before you pay the spell’s costs. You won’t be able to tap it again for convoke. Similarly, if you sacrifice a creature to activate a mana ability while casting a spell with convoke, that creature won’t be on the battlefield when you pay the spell’s costs, so you won’t be able to tap it for convoke.
