Looter il-Kor sarebbe un ottimo aggiunta a un mazzo che si concentra sull'avvantaggio di carte e interazioni con il cimitero, come un mazzo di controllo Dimir o Grixis in Magic: The Gathering. Mentre Looter il-Kor fornisce pesca e selezione di carte, ci sono potenzialmente opzioni migliori come Snapcaster Mage o Jace, Prodigio di Vryn che offrono più versatilità e potenza nel gioco competitivo.
