Un mazzo incentrato sul lancio di un elevato numero di incantesimi non creatura, come un mazzo di controllo o combo, trarrebbe beneficio dall'inclusione di Flux Channeler. Mentre ci sono altre carte come Atraxa, Voce dei Pretori che offrono effetti simili su una scala più ampia, Flux Channeler può comunque essere un'aggiunta preziosa per i mazzi che cercano di aumentare incrementalmente i contatori e di sinergizzare con altri effetti di proliferazione. Potrebbe essere giocato in mazzi che possono lanciare in modo coerente incantesimi non creatura e sfruttare meccaniche di proliferazione.
