Nim Contagioso, Creatura — zombie, progettato da Efrem Palacios rilasciato per la prima volta Oct, 2010 in redazione Scars of Mirrodin.

Un mazzo che si concentra sull'utilizzo dell'infezione come condizione di vittoria, come ad esempio un mazzo a tema veleno in Magic: the Gathering, beneficerebbe dall'inclusione di Contagious Nim. Mentre Contagious Nim può essere un'aggiunta solida a un tale mazzo, ci sono altre creature infette più potenti come Blightsteel Colossus o Skithiryx, il Drago della Peste, che potrebbero essere considerate opzioni migliori per il loro maggiore impatto. Contagious Nim potrebbe essere giocato in un mazzo infetto economico o più casuale, ma in un contesto competitivo potrebbe non essere la scelta più ottimale.

A player who has ten or more poison counters loses the game. This is a state-based action.

If damage from a source with infect that would be dealt to a player is prevented, that player doesn’t get poison counters. If damage from a source with infect that would be dealt to a creature is prevented, that creature doesn’t get -1/-1 counters.

The -1/-1 counters remain on the creature indefinitely. They’re not removed if the creature regenerates or the turn ends.
