Hydre de genèse, Créature : plante et hydre, conçu par Peter Mohrbacher sorti pour la première fois en Jun, 2002 dans l'édition Magic Online Promos et a été imprimé exactement dans 10 formes différentes.

Cette carte bénéficierait d'un deck de rampe qui vise à générer rapidement beaucoup de mana, vous permettant potentiellement de mettre un permanent non-terrain puissant sur le champ de bataille à un coût réduit. Alors que Genesis Hydra peut être une inclusion forte dans un tel deck, certains pourraient soutenir que des cartes comme Primeval Titan ou Tooth and Nail offrent des effets plus immédiats et impactants. Cependant, Genesis Hydra peut toujours être une addition polyvalente et amusante aux decks cherchant un mélange de rampe et de valeur de créature.

If you put an Aura onto the battlefield this way, you choose what it enchants as it enters the battlefield. This doesn’t target any permanent or player, but it must be able to enchant that permanent or player. For example, you could put a green Aura onto the battlefield enchanting a creature with hexproof controlled by an opponent, but not one with protection from green.
