Hurleur nocturne, Créature enchantée – horreur, conçu par Seb McKinnon sorti pour la première fois en Jun, 2002 dans l'édition Magic Online Promos et a été imprimé exactement dans 8 formes différentes.

Un deck axé sur le cimetière, comme une stratégie de réanimation Golgari ou Dimir, gagnerait grandement à inclure Nighthowler dans son deck. Sa capacité à croître en puissance en fonction du nombre de cartes de créature dans tous les cimetières peut en faire une menace puissante, surtout lorsqu'elle est accordée à une créature. Bien qu'il puisse exister d'autres cartes puissantes avec des effets similaires, la flexibilité de Nighthowler en tant que créature et enchantement en fait un choix polyvalent qui pourrait être joué dans le bon deck.

If a permanent with bestow enters the battlefield by any method other than being cast, it will be an enchantment creature. You can’t choose to pay the bestow cost and have it become an Aura.

Nighthowler’s last ability functions only from the battlefield. In other zones, Nighthowler is a 0/0 enchantment creature.

Unlike other Aura spells, an Aura spell with bestow isn’t countered if its target is illegal as it begins to resolve. Rather, the effect making it an Aura spell ends, it loses enchant creature, it returns to being an enchantment creature spell, and it resolves and enters the battlefield as an enchantment creature.
