Un deck qui se concentre sur la récursion du cimetière et sur le lancement de sorts depuis le cimetière gagnerait à inclure Underworld Breach, car il fournit un moyen puissant de lancer des sorts à plusieurs reprises depuis le cimetière. Cependant, il existe d'autres cartes comme Yawgmoth's Will et Past in Flames qui offrent des effets similaires et peuvent être considérées comme de meilleures options en fonction de la stratégie de deck spécifique. Underworld Breach pourrait être utilisé dans des decks cherchant à maximiser les interactions dans les cimetières et la récursion des sorts.

The converted mana cost of the spell remains unchanged, no matter what the total cost to cast it was and no matter whether an alternative cost was paid.
