Lazav, érudit de Dimir, Créature légendaire : changeforme, conçu par David Rapoza sorti pour la première fois en Feb, 2013 dans l'édition Gatecrash et a été imprimé exactement dans 3 formes différentes.

Lazav, le Maître de l'esprit Dimir serait un ajout précieux à un deck de contrôle ou de moulin dans Magic: the Gathering, car il peut se transformer en créatures puissantes du cimetière de l'adversaire, offrant ainsi de la polyvalence et une condition de victoire potentielle. Bien qu'il puisse y avoir d'autres cartes puissantes dans la même fourchette de coûts en mana, la capacité de Lazav à s'adapter aux menaces de l'adversaire en fait un sérieux prétendant à l'inclusion dans le bon deck, surtout un axé sur les interactions avec le cimetière et les stratégies de contrôle.

Lazav, Dimir Mastermind becomes a copy of the creature card in the graveyard. If that card is no longer in the graveyard when Lazav’s ability resolves, use the characteristics of that card as it last existed in the graveyard. Notably, copy effects that applied to the creature card when it was on the battlefield won’t be copied by Lazav. For example, if a Clone is put into an opponent’s graveyard from the battlefield and you use Lazav’s ability, it will become 0/0. It won’t become a copy of whatever Clone was copying.
