Caveau insondable, Land, conçu par Pat Lewis sorti pour la première fois en Nov, 1994 dans l'édition Fallen Empires et a été imprimé exactement dans 2 formes différentes.
Bottomless Vault pourrait être bénéfique dans un deck de contrôle ou de type rampe qui ne repose pas sur du mana rapide, car il fournit une source constante de mana noir au fil du temps. Cependant, sa condition d'entrée et son potentiel d'accélération lente peuvent le rendre inefficace par rapport à d'autres terrains tels que Cabal Coffers ou Urborg, Tomb of Yaugzebul, qui offrent une génération de mana plus immédiate et plus puissante. Dans l’ensemble, Bottomless Vault pourrait ne pas être autant joué dans les decks compétitifs Magic: The Gathering en raison de sa nature plus lente et de son manque potentiel d’impact par rapport aux autres options terrestres.
