Sierpe de asedio, Criatura — sierpe, diseñada por Carl Critchlow lanzado por primera vez en Oct, 2005 en edición Ravnica: City of Guilds y fue impreso exactamente en 5 diferentes formas.
Esta carta de Siege Wurm sería beneficiosa en un mazo basado en verde que se centre en aumentar rápidamente el mana y utilizar fichas de criatura o una amplia presencia en el tablero. Su habilidad de convocar permite flexibilidad en el coste de lanzamiento, lo que la convierte en una opción sólida para mazos con muchas criaturas. Si bien Siege Wurm puede ser una inclusión sólida en ciertas estrategias, existen opciones potencialmente mejores como Carnage Tyrant o Voracious Hydra para criaturas de mayor impacto en un rango de coste de mana similar, dependiendo de las necesidades y objetivos específicos del mazo. En última instancia, si Siege Wurm se juega dependería de la estrategia general y la sinergia del mazo para el que se está considerando.

If a creature you control has a mana ability with in the cost, activating that ability while casting a spell with convoke will result in the creature being tapped before you pay the spell’s costs. You won’t be able to tap it again for convoke. Similarly, if you sacrifice a creature to activate a mana ability while casting a spell with convoke, that creature won’t be on the battlefield when you pay the spell’s costs, so you won’t be able to tap it for convoke.
