Wildfire Devils would be beneficial in a red deck that focuses on disrupting the opponent's graveyard and gaining advantage from their spells. While it can provide value by copying an instant or sorcery card for free, there are potentially better options such as Snapcaster Mage or Torrential Gearhulk that offer more flexibility and consistency in spell recursion. However, Wildfire Devils could still see play in decks looking for a unique and chaotic effect.

You can cast the copy only as the triggered ability resolves. If you don’t want to cast it at that time (or you can’t cast it, perhaps because there are no legal targets available), the copy ceases to exist. You can’t cast it later.

You choose a player at random and they exile a card all while the triggered ability is resolving. No player may take any actions between the two or between exiling the card and you copying and casting it.
