About Venom
Venom, Enchantment — aura, designed by Tom Wänerstrand first released in Aug, 1994 in the set The Dark and was printed exactly in 5 different ways.
This card, Venom, would be beneficial in a deck that focuses on controlling the board by eliminating key threats during combat. Decks that aim to disrupt their opponent's strategy by removing important creatures would find value in using Venom. However, there are potentially better options such as cards like Darksteel Mutation or Song of the Dryads which provide more versatile and permanent removal effects. Venom could see play in specific metagames where creature-based strategies are prevalent, but overall, its situational nature may limit its effectiveness in more diverse or competitive environments.
Rules
10/04/04
If this Aura is moved onto a creature after blockers are declared, creatures blocking the newly-enchanted creature are not affected. This is because the ability triggers at the time blocking occurs.
