Snare the Skies, Instant, designed by Ryan Yee first released in May, 2012 in the set Avacyn Restored.
Snare the Skies would be beneficial in a green deck that focuses on creature combat and needs a way to deal with flying threats. While it provides a temporary boost and reach to a creature, there are potentially better options like Prey Upon which can also deal damage to the target creature. However, Snare the Skies could still see play in decks that require a quick answer to flying creatures or need additional reach abilities.
