About Séance

Séance, Enchantment, designed by David Rapoza first released in Feb, 2012 in the set Dark Ascension and was printed exactly in 3 different ways.

A deck that focuses on graveyard recursion and token generation, such as a White-Black Aristocrats deck, would benefit from including Séance. While Séance can be a fun and flavorful card to play with, there are more efficient options available in Magic: the Gathering for achieving similar effects, such as cards like Sun Titan or Reveillark. Ultimately, whether Séance sees play would depend on the specific strategy and preferences of the player, as it can be a unique and interesting addition to a deck looking to capitalize on graveyard interactions.

Rules

03/14/17

If the copied card has in its mana cost, X is considered to be 0.

03/14/17

The token doesn’t have haste (unless the card it’s copying has haste) and usually won’t be able to attack.

03/14/17

The token is a Spirit in addition to its other types. This is a copiable value of the token that other effects may copy.
